I've heard some rumors going around talking about the membership when Jay was last president in 2003/2004 dropping to about 60 people. That is false at worst and misleading at best.

The actual numbers taken directly from the 2003 and 2004 membership database show the membership at the end of the year as:

2003 - 224 2004 - 236

Additionally, SBARC was still mailing out printed copies of KeyKlix via bulk non-profit rate, and that requires a minimum of 200 pieces.

That count of 60 could have been gotten from the very early months as that would have been typical before everyone had joined/rejoined.

Hope this clears up any confusion.
