Dear CW Ops ...

Phil W6OQX and myself, AD6EZ, are thinking about starting up another "round" of the "POKER" CW net -- (Slow-Pokers). This net was set up originally about 2 years ago to help folks like myself that were needing to improve and increase their code copy and sending. It was a lot of fun and I eventually passed my 20-wpm test for my Extra. Several of you have asked me to restart the Poker net and so Phil and I would be very happy to do so if there was enough interest to make it worthwhile. It benefits no one if no one checks in! And just remember, "No One" already has his 20-wpm! (:8^>) The code speed on the net will be at YOUR speed. So if someone checks in at 12-wpm and you work at 5-wpm then wait your turn and try to copy what you can until you check in -- then the speed will be reduced to 5 or 6 wpm for you and other listening in.

I need to hear back from you ASAP by Email if you would like to see the Poker Net start up again. That means, you are willing to check in when you are able to even if it is just to say hello. You would not be just helping yourself but others listening as well. Call me, Denny, at 968-0221
