Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that we will be having a Hamfest planning meeting tonight at Rusty's Pizza on upper State Street next to Burger King. We will start at 6:30PM and plan on ending by 8:30PM.

As I said earlier, these are my goals:

* Build a Hamfest team that will continue into the future. * Make the content of our Hamfest spectacular so people WANT to attend as opposed to attending only because of tradition. * Provide a means to follow up on people interested and get them involved in ham radio.

I would also like to find someone interested in online market research that can find the interest level in what we come up with. This will be a great learning experience for anyone interested in Internet Market Research!!! A couple of us have some experience with marketing, both online and offline, so you won't be left out in the cold as to how to do the research. The online research will mainly involve using Google and the many tools they provide.

Please be thinking of what activities/demonstrations/speakers will attract people. Since we will have the Earl Warren Showgrounds sign to help with exposure, we need to also consider people not in ham radio but would be interested in finding out more.
