Our own Larry Martinez, WA6MVJ, will present a talk on the evolving efforts to limit the weaponization of outer space and to address legal gaps created by the rapidly expanding commercial presence in Earth’s orbital realm.

Are commercial space systems now targets for military operations as they pass over areas of international conflict? These and other questions will be explored in the March 11 presentation.

Larry will present in person at the Community West Bank conference room, 445 Pine Avenue (off Hollister Avenue) in Goleta, and will also be available via Zoom.
