Are you referring to the F6A? I have that, and I am using a Maldol MH610 tri-band antenna, and it comes with an SMA connector. It has a shape memory whip, making it easy to take anywhere, without worries of damaging it. I get great results, compared to the stock rubber duck.

Otis Calef (KG6JMT) and I are taking scouts to the Sierras next week. We are taking our Kenwood triband radios. I need a better antenna than the default one that came with the radio.

AES has some Diamond antenna Accessories RH and SRH series. Which one would help boost the transmission?
