NEW 6 METER REPEATER IN TOWN
Effective this date a new 6 meter repeater was installed at the K6TZ site on La Vigia Hill. All operational coverage reports should be sent to W6AMS or W1UUQ.
Repeater: 51.82 MHz Output 51.32 MHz Input 131.8 Hz PL Power is 25 watts into 3 db collinear antenna Controller is an RLC-4
Thanks to Andy Seybold, W6AMS, and John Thornton, W6HD for their personal effort and contribution with providing the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) residuals. And, special recognition to Shaw Takeuchi, AE6BL, for providing a remote access through the Internet for RLC-4 programming.
Great job everyone!
PS. For those with 220 you can get on the 223.92 MHz Santa Cruz Island repeater remote base on 6 meters and link it to the new equipment. If in doubt about how to operate the remote then contact the training crew on .79 who would be glad to help you out.

At the board meeting, I remember some talk about a 6-meter repeater. Now, here it is 5 days later and -- presto, here it is!
What took you guys soooooo long?
Great job! Thank you all.
