Hi, Bill! Compose an email to "sbarc-list@lists.netlojix.com".
If at all possible, send your email in plain text format, without "stationery", HTML, rich text, etc.
If you are replying to an existing message, especially if you get the list in a daily digest, change the subject line to something meaningful and trim any material that is not relevant to what you're posting, but leave the relevant material in place. This way the rest of the list sees a subject line that makes sense, your reply is in context, and the entire day's postings aren't repeated.
If you are replying to an existing message, put your reply comments AFTER the quoted text, NOT before. This helps avoid situations like the following:
A: Because it fouls up the order in which people normally read text. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing? A: Top-posting. Q: What is the most annoying thing in e-mail?
If you receive the list in digest format, you may not immediately see your reply posted to the list, but it should be in the next day's digest.
That's it!
