Hi everyone,
This is just a heads up.
I talked with Joe Moell (K0OV) yesterday, and we will be putting on an ARDF type hunt at Lake Carnaros on Saturday morning, January 7, 2007. We will probably start direction finding and orienteering practice/training for newcomers about 9:30 and start the main hunt at 10:30AM. We will have a limited amount of DF gear to loan out. Participants will be provided an orienteering map, and there is no charge for this event.
If you have (grand)kids that you think might enjoy this, you can bring them out and shadow them as they go out on the course to find the transmitters.
