Subject: New QRP Special Interest Group
Greetings QRP'r and other interested hams! This past Monday night at the SBARC Swap Net, the idea of a weekly QRP net following the Swap Net on Mondays (~8:30 pm) was given the spark of life by net control/QRP'r/kit builder/all-around-good-guy Hap De Simone, N6LZB. If this sounds like fun, put it down on your calendar for the first official gathering of the QRP Net, Monday, February 26, 2001 at approx. 8:30 pm. I imagine that Hap will start it off, as it was his idea. Who finally becomes the net control and what will be the the form of the group will be up to the participants. If you have an Amateur Radio license, this should be right up your alley.
