In April, I had the tremendous opportunity to visit Cuba legally and spend some time with Cuban radio amateurs (radioaficionados in Spanish) that I had met on the air during the SBARC Tuesday Night Digital Modes/ATV Net using 40m JT-65 from my QTH on the Mesa. It was an incredible experience to make a digital HF contact with a Cuban ham and then be in his living room three months later!
When I returned to home to the States in May, I decided to write about it and see if the ARRL and QST would have any interest in such an article.
QSL from Cuba appears on page 70 of the October edition of QST which has been printed and is on its way to mailboxes! ARRL members can access the online edition of the article here: http://www.nxtbook.com/nxtbooks/arrl/qst_201510/index.php#/76
