I picked up a pair of USB wall plate plug ins about a year ago at my local Costco. I figure it is better to have them plug in then to be hard wired. That makes it much easier to replace when they fail. Being made in Vietnam, I figure they won't last forever. They don't seem to be listed on Costco.com.
