[Sbarc-list] ARDF Practice This Weekend at Lake Los Carnaros

Hi all,

First a thank you for a job well done at the convention in Buellton. Everyone I talked to, including myself, had a great time up there.

This Saturday (Sept 14), we will be having another ARDF practice session at Lake Carnaros.

In addition to our usual ARDF 2M practice, we will be doing a short FoxOring course. FoxOring is a combination of orienteering and 80M DFing. Basically you navigate to the circle shown on the map. And from within that circle, you can hear a very low power transmitter with an 80M receiver.

Since it is unlikely that many people will have an 80M receiver, we will have some to loan out.
