California Hams: A bill (S.3690) has been introduced in the U.S. Senate that would essentially override antenna restrictions for hams across the USA. You can go to their websites and leave a simple message (find them at senate.gov) as basic as: “Please support S.3690” HOWEVER- e-mail messages are usually read and tallied by low-level assistants. From experience, I prefer to send a piece of mail, which someone has to handle. When they get a lot of mail on a topic, it can make a visual impact. If they get a lot of QSL cards, it really attracts attention because they’re so unusual. Also – post cards aren’t delayed by security screening. Simply get two QSL cards. Draw a line down the back. On one side goes the Senator’s address. On the other half, your request for support. Then mail the items as post cards. It’s that easy.
