Our Sea to Summit bike ride event is coming up here very shortly and we are extremely short of radio operators! In the past, Santa Barbara has had 4 - 6 people come down to help in this event typically as APRS trackers.
We are in great need of operators for this event. The event is 0700 - 1700 Saturday May 13, 2000. The event is approximately 100 miles long with a total climb of 18,000 ft. This is a large area that starts on Ventura Blvd in Ventura and ends at Mt. Pinos parking lot at 8800 ft.
