Hi everyone, A rather interesting blog post I just read that hits home: Is the iPhone Killing Your Creativity? http://lateralaction.com/articles/iphone-creativity/ The nutshell description is that many people can't stand boredom and use TV, the iPhone, their computer, etc. as distractions. The bottom line is they then don't spend any time daydreaming or other creative pursuits. Personally, I find myself doing the same thing ... checking email, checking the web, etc. Most interesting!!! IRLP Maintenance

2009 Hamfest/Convention?

Hi everyone! Does ANYONE have any idea what is going on with the hamfest/convention yet? I saw flyers for the event being distributed up at the Santa Maria Swapfest, but there is nothing on the SBARC website except the same announcement that has been there for about a month saying stay tuned. Some of his friends and co-workers at the school district are having a memorial service for him on Monday June 1 at 4:00 PM. It's at the Goleta Union School District board room across the street from the Goleta Library on Fairview. That's where the SBARC meetings are but I'm not sure if it's in the same room. Spread the word. All are welcome. 73
