The actual cancel button was just a standard SPST (doorbell) button. There is a relay that fits on the amp where the mech plugs. The relay is SPDT and 24VDC.
This i had (have) a few of these buried here. It could easily be made.

And from reading the schematics, it looks like it might take a 3-wire, SPDT switch, not just a normally open "doorbell" switch to make this happen.
Is that right? Was there an offical remote switch that could be added? How did it connect?
