Thank you Norman, I will pull the pricing unit out and give it a good going over and let you know how it goes. Thank you for the help! I appreciate it.

Hi Doug, Since the battery trick works, that proves that it is a write-in fault that you are dealing with (detent switch etc OK). The "K" test that you have performed with the test lamp narrows the fault down further within the write-in circuit - the obvious first thing to check is the trigger switch in the credit unit (is it clean and the contacts in good shape?). There is a simplified write-in schematic on page 1437 of the service manual. Using the troubleshooting chart and the test terminals, it leads me to test K where the test lamp doesn’t lite and tells me it’s a write-in issue. Taking some voltage measurements, a few odd things are, the selenium rectifier in the tormat receiver is supposed to measure -25 vdc, I’m getting -40 vdc. On the test points, points G-H should measure -300vdc. I only get that when a record is playing. When idle, it’s only a few millivolts. I have Mike Zuccaro’s DVD Repairing the tormat selection receiver and when I see him testing that point I don’t hear a record playing so I’m guessing that these voltage test are when the mech is idle. The battery trick works and every selection plays. Does that eliminate the detent switch and anything else? All contacts on the tormat selector and in the pricing unit cleaned and checked including the relay which I know is important. When the mech is scanning, the OA2 tubes flicker like they should. I have checked all the caps and resistors in the receiver. All caps are good including the .05 in the pulse amp. I would really appreciate any help or suggestions. I’ve been trying to figure this out on my own for the last few months and don’t have much hair left to pull out.
