Zero is a dead short. The field coil should read 5400 ohms, the voice coil 8 ohms.

Speaker blows fuse when plugged into amp. Resistance reading (0) on prongs 1 and 7 of plug indicates an open coil. Is that correct? If so then what are my solution options? Thanks for advice- education. Allen
