If the mech is manually moved to the left, and the tormat is "loaded" with a battery for both sides, does it select and play both sides properly?
When the mech gets to the right, does the motor keep trying to run the same direction, or does it just stop?
Is the #2 test plug installed? (IDK what that would do?) Or is a jumper wire in the plug broken?
Have you tested the RR coil itself?
Make sure none of the jack or plug terminals are getting pushed out when inserted.
I don't have the answers, just some things that came to me.
If I have a problem like that I often will take a jumper wire clipped onto the one relay coil terminal, bypass everything and test it direct to its power source testing the relay. If that works, keep following the schematic to the next point, which depending on the schematics quality, can be difficult.
