Hi All,
I find propagation, in all its forms, just a fascinating subject, don't you?
The link below has been forwarded to me by a ham radio friend, here in San
Diego.

At first blush, it sounds like a boon to the HF op, but it appears there is a
lot to using this tool.
At least, it seems that way to me!
Just wanted to run it past you, in the event you had not yet heard or seen of
it.

Greetings from SBARC ATVSIG,
ATV Movie of the Week
The ATV Movie of the Week this week will be A Big Universe!
This was the keynote presentation at last weekend's Santa Barbara Hamfest.
Wayne Rosing KD6ALG discusses an innovative program to explore the universe.
It will be transmitted Tuesday (today) at 7:40pm Pacific Time (shown early
so you can view the entire 50 minute video) on the WB9KMO-ATN ATV Repeater
and it will be streamed at that time on www.batc.tv > ATV Repeaters >
WB9KMO-ATN.
Sometime in the next week, I plan to upload this video to www.batc.tv > Film
Archives for download and on-demand viewing.

Did anyone else get a "Medication" spam email via callsign(a)sbarc.org ?
I did this morning and it looks like it's from the yahoo group "hbtyfimuych"
Is there some way our group moderator/administrator can set a filter for
junk like this?
Tnx

Every now and then, through some elegant coincidence, magical lightening can indeed strike twice in the same place.
Yesterday was one of those occurrences when hard work, good weather, friendship, technology and just plain fun came together to showcase our wonderful hobby.
There is no way that I can thank enough Rick, Harry, Al, Rod, Bob, Dave (2), Jug, Cindy, Cyril, Darryl, Tom, Bill (2), Bruce, Michael and so very many others who made this all possible.
I am sure that Tom will soon let us know if we made any money, but for me the outpouring of enthusiasm for amateur radio and it evangelists made it all worthwhile.
Thank you for coming, for helping, for winning (especially Darryl, Bill and Bruce) and for just having a great time.
