K6TZ ROVER PROJECT PLANNING MEETING:
When: Wednesday, March 23, 2005. 5:30 PM
Where: Club Station at the Red Cross
Purpose: To discuss wifi systems for the rover.
we will be meeting at the club station this wednesday (tomorrow) at 5:30
pm to discuss the wifi systems for the rover. jim, ae6ac, rod, wb9kmo
and thorsten will be spearheading the discussion. we want to identify
the capabilities and equipment needed to outfit the rover.
everyone with an interest in the wifi portion of the rover project
should attend. rumor is that there might be some pizzas lurking.

Is anybody locally using EchoLink? Try as I might I have not succeeded
in getting my router to port forward. An Elmer for this project would

dying monitor?

Is there any hope for a CRT monitor when it starts to smear? I'm using
a 5 year old NEC MultiSync FE700 CRT flat screen, and have noticed that
there is a smear of gray to the right of any black characters, such as a
line of text. Degaussing did not help (nor did I expect it to but tried
it anyway). Or is 5 years about what I should expect? Thanks for the
anticipated sage advice.
