The Carpenteria Triathlon is coming up on Sunday, September 30,2012. We need Ham Operators who are willing to bring their 2 meter radio, a comfortable chair or car to sit in, and spend the morning talking on the air to support the Bike Race and/or Run that will take place. It’s a fun morning and the people who we are helping out are always very appreciative. If you have the time please contact me with your information. Since this is run by the City of Carpinteria, there is an extra step that has to be completed on their website but it is very easy and I can give you more information.
