Dave and SBARC
I think that activating HF radios at the SBARC picnic is an excellent idea, both as practice for Field Day, and for emergency operations generally.
Unfortunately, my 87 year old mother arrives today for a rare and short visit. And so, I will not be able to take the time to set-up a station myself. I will try and attend the picnic for a little while, though. And, I am happy to loan my 40-10M EFHW antenna though, Dave, if you wish to use it.
