Tomorrow night, Friday, January 15, 2010, will be when we hold our first meeting of the New Year. We will have a new president who is excited to meet and greet every one of you. Al Soenke, WA6VNN, wants to hear your ideas of what kind of exciting things we as a club might do this year. Bring your thoughts, your good ideas, and let him hear from you. I have a couple of ideas myself. What do you think SBARC should do this year to head us in the direction of regaining that number one spot in the ARRL Southwestern Division? You do know that absolutely nothing is impossible. We did put a man on the moon, didn't we? What can SBARC do?

Do you like our refreshment break during the meetings? Are you able to bring some goodies for the refreshment table? Cookies, donuts, cake, fresh fruit -- always a hit. Michael, W7HUT, will be bringing the hot Starbucks coffee. Can anyone bring some soft drinks?

Come early, stay late. Put your hand out. Welcome some new hams to our wonderful hobby. Bring some junque for our 'Free to a Good Home' table. Take some home with you.

If you are new to our club, we meet at the Goleta Union School District board room which is located at 401 N. Fairview Ave. in Goleta, directly across the street from the Goleta Library. The meeting begins at 7:30 PM, but come early.
