As you may know, the SBARC Board of Directors recently decided that we will participate in the ARRL Field Day this year. A planning team, lead by Warren Myers and comprised of Ken Alker, Dave Schmidt and Mike Wapner, seeks your input on our event to ensure that we serve the interests of our club, in line with ARRL guidelines, in best way possible.

On the fourth weekend of June of each year, thousands of radio amateurs gather with their clubs, groups or simply with friends to operate from remote locations. Field Day is a picnic, practice for emergencies, an informal contest and, most of all, FUN!”
