Since I'm only using 2M on the truck, I've stuck a welding rod in there and trimmed it for 2M for now, but I'd like to replace it with a stainless steel whip as the welding rod is going to rust away quickly.  Replacement whips cost way too much to ship once they get over 36" long and I need around 38".

Does anyone have an old antenna laying around that still has a good stainless steel whip that is 2.5mm (0.098") in diameter and at least 38" in length?  If so and you're willing to part with it, let me know.
