Greetings from SBARC ATVSIG,
Today’s ATV Movie of
the Week is…
SBARC ISS CONTACT N6KTH (11 MINUTES)
On August 19, 2008, Ken Owen
N6KTH and numerous SBARC and Boy Scout participants contacted the International
Space Station from the UCSB campus near Santa Barbara, California. Rod
Fritz WB9KMO and Michael Barber W6MRB recorded the video.
VIDEO STREAMING - Our technical problems are resolved
(we think). We’re trying to stream again tonight. If that
doesn’t work well for you, watch VIDEO ON DEMAND or VIDEO DOWNLOAD
instead. Streaming normally starts
at 8:00pm Pacific Time every Tuesday at www.batc.tv – Click the ATV
Repeaters button and select WB9KMO-ATN.
VIDEO ON DEMAND - Available anytime at www.batc.tv
– Click the Film Archive button and select the movie you want to
watch. If your Internet connection is slow, you may experience dropouts
in the audio and video. If this happens, we recommend using VIDEO
DOWNLOAD to capture the file to your PC, where you can play it (independent of
the Internet) with a program like Windows Media Player.
VIDEO DOWNLOAD – Follow the instructions
above for VIDEO ON DEMAND. NOTE: Video files are up to 200
MB long and will typically take several minutes to download. To download
the video, click on Click Here.
This will download the video to your PC. You can play it right away
using your default player. Or, if you just
want to download the video to play later, then right click on the link and
"Save As."
“We look forward
to seeing you on ham radio real soon.”
Rod Fritz, WB9KMO
