Hello SBARC Members and Friends,

We’re still looking for helpers at 2pm on Sunday.  Drive yourself or carpool.  Call me on 19/79 at about 1:45pm or on the phone at 805-637-0985.  My email will only be read until about 10:30am.  You’re help will speed up getting the two-way link going again to the Amateur Television Network.

Today (Sunday) at 2pm, I’m taking a few helpers up to the Santa Barbara ATV Repeater site on Gibraltar Road to work on several tasks.  My main goals are 1) to get a usable signal on 5.8 GHz from Oxnard and 2) to hook up the 315’ 7/8” hard line to the 10’ grid antenna pointing at Santiago Peak.  The latter will set the stage for our 2.4 GHz talk-back.  Hopefully, that will be up and running soon.

I need someone to bring a dolly (or two) that we can use to move the double-wide outdoor rack.  Does anyone have a temporary or permanent home for the rack?
