Correct. If you were an Advanced you get to keep that incremental advancement between General and Extra but for current Generals the only upgrade path is to Extra.

You will see that there are privileges for E (Extra) A (Advanced) and G (General).  If you have a grandfathered Advanced you are limited to the indicated privileges.  So basically Advanced still exists for those who already had it; you just can become a new Advanced.

I have a question about the "current" frequency privileges for each license class. I can see that Novice merged with Tech class, but what happened to the Advanced class privileges?

Did it merge with Extra?
