If any of you are going to the Palm Springs Hamfest this coming Saturday, IMHO it is a good opportunity to see the Palm Springs Air Museum afterward, which you pass on the Gene Autry Trail on the way to the Hamfest.

You can check out their website at www.palmspringsairmuseum.org . There are often special programs on Saturdays. Listed for January 29 is the "100th Bomb Group". There will be some sort of presentation on it starting at 1:00--probably a speaker but I'm not sure. There will surely be more info on it on their Facebook page, linked on their website, later in the week.

You might want to take a tour afterward, likely led by a grizzled veteran WWII pilot with gripping stories to tell.

I speak only from the experience of going to both last year and it made for a very memorable and fun day!
