They mentioned that it was only going out to people that opted in for test messages, so that is why most people did not see anything.  I would guess the people they sent it to are probably in the emergency response business.

Was everyone supposed to get that alert? If so, the EBS definitely needs some serious work! 

I got nothing and neither did Cindy.

 I’m glad it was only a simulated nuclear attack/emergency scenario.  

  However. If it was the real thing, the alert may not have helped much:-)
