Tom Carlyle and were flying direct back to SB and our heading was very close to a Restricted area. Interesting the GPS was being spoofed and would be taking us off course but the auto-pilot maintained heading and altitude on our steam gauges. So we asked the controller if the GPS was supposed to act this way. The one word answer was , "Affirmative." After several minutes we cleared the area and all returned to normal.

  Since there are many operators in the Club that hold PPLs I thought this be worth sharing. 
  Unless you are flying near a conflict zone most likely won’t have a negative experience. 
 but there’s been stories of pilots here in SoCal have there GPS go haywire while on approach.
