Indeed, SBARC achieved or exceeded its Field Day objectives
which were:
1) Enjoy the camaraderie of SBARC friends.
2) Practice emergency radio operations, especially given that
many in the club have not activated an amateur radio station in
the field recently.
3) Engage the public, raising awareness of our club and the
many ways we serve the Santa Barbara community
4) Sharpen our operating skills and station capabilities by
competing in the Field Day QSO exercise (more on our performance
in this regard soon).
