Description – Amateur Radio Operators are routinely
launching balloons to 20 mile altitudes with communication and research
electronics onboard. Join us to learn about the success of our recent launches,
the technologies involved, future plans and how you can observe or participate.
Mark Caviezel, NG0X will lead this presentation with over a decade of experience
in amateur and commercial launches. You will be fascinated with what we do and
will likely want to see or be involved in our next local launch. This is not
rocket science. It yields similar results far more economically, with far less
effort and the launches are fun!
