The Santa Barbara Board of Supervisors will be making its first designation of "Amateur Radio Month" by presenting a proclamation at their meeting on Tuesday, June 19 at 9 a.m.

The meeting will be held at their alternate site, 511 East Lakeside Parkway in Santa Maria.

All available Santa Barbara County Amateur Radio operators are encouraged to attend this significant recognition of the community service they provide.

I am told the presentation will be near the beginning of the agenda, so please be prompt.
