The Santa Barbara Amateur Radio Club will sponsor a
General Upgrade Class. The class consists of three Thursday Evening
sessions starting August 26 from 7 to 9 PM. The location is County
Health Services, 300 North San Antonio Road.
This class is intended for hams that have a Technician
License that want to upgrade to General. The class will focus mainly on
the General Written Exam but will have some discussion on techniques that
students can use to learn 5 words per minute code. The class is free and
is open to all hams.
An entry level Technician Class will start October 12
and consists of five Tuesday evening sessions from 6:30 to 9 PM at the same
location.
