Is there a kit to add a wireless remote to this? It doesn't have to be one of the fancy ones that you can make selections with, just a volume, cancel, and maybe an On/Off.
Thanks,
Tony

Replying to myself, I'm thinking of making one since I don't see any anywhere. A start would be a Seeburg motorized volume control (maybe a Wurlitzer one), some relays (a latching one for power on/off) and an RF frequency 4 channel remote and receiver that are found all over the internet. This would be for my own Antique Apparatus I just put in the house. I just recalled installing an 80's era Rock-Ola wired remote. That might be a better start, if I can find one. Any tips appreciated.

Hi Tony -
I asked Jorge Rivera at Rock-ola and he just responded with this:
“There was a long time ago. It was a garage door opener style with four buttons and the kit consisted of a piece in the power supply, button style with power on/off, receiver and remote. Unfortunately that kit has obsolete for quite some time and no new kit was developed. As a result you can extend the dial volume control to a different spot instead of behind the jukebox. There might be a wired dial volume control with wireless remote. I’ll have to check it out.”

I'm taking a chance to see if these compliment each other and be great if they work.

Oh wow – those are vintage Rock-ola for sure! I wonder if the Linear company that made the remote is the same “Linear” that made the collectible “Phase Linear” vintage amps?

Much more likely the Linear that makes garage door remotes.
