So have any young entrepreneurs found a fix for the broken gear on the motor? Come on John R, I know you can find or make new ones. I KNOW you can do it!

Which gear? Photo and part number would help.
I don't know if I have anything though, my stock of Rowe bits is steadily decreasing...and without a gear I can't reproduce it. I haven't a CD100 in the shop to match the gear too.

I was reading up on this and see that not only the output gear goes bad, but a red gear inside the case. I don't have a motor on hand, just a service call where they say "I can hear the motor running, but it doesn't turn the pages". It's far away and I'm not going without a good motor with me.
Don Stacy in Texas has replacement steel gears to replace the stripped red ones. I’ve replaced a couple for customers. They work great
