When you say that the turntable spins, does it do that
constantly, from the moment the machine is plugged in,
or do you have to do something to make it get power?
Does the record rack scan back and forth?  When you
say that the mechanism is "frozen" do you mean that
it is entirely siezed up, os simply that the transfer
arm motor is not getting power?
