[Jukebox-list] Neddle pressue (Wurlitzer 1900 and 2300)

Dear all,

I was wondering if somebody could recommend a way to set the needle pressure to "safe levels" with some "house-made-easy" gauge! I do not have the gauge that appears in the manuals... Some trick to set force to those few gramms?

The second question is regarding the warning that Cobra needles were not necessarily the best and that monoaural needles damage stereo 45s... I understood from previous threads the too large size and the unability to move radially as the reason of it. The question is if a 0.7 needle is undersized enough to compensate the above or should I expect anyway fast damage of the records?
