A voice coil wire broke deep within the speaker on my
M100-A back in the late 70s.  I got a permanent magnet
replacement, complete with a ceramic resistor to load
the amplifier, (the speaker field coil load is required
for the amp to function) from Jukebox Junkyard.  30
years later, it's still going strong, FWIW.
