My turn ... Ahhhhh 

I understood about the glass. I think mine was installed incorrectly when I 
got it. The most reflective part should face away from the juke to maximize 
the artwork on the lower illuminated panel? (that's what I guessed from the 
manual).

Great info on the metal flange (cable cover). I probably waxed it when I got 
it (missing when I got the juke). I will spray it flat and see how it 
performs.

I think another issue is the reflecting light source is from the lower title 
strip holder (slot in the bottom of the housing above the mech). My plastic 
has turned blue (perhaps it was this way when new?)

What are your thoughts on painting the mech base flat black? Would it help 
the overall looks?
